Time out from Technology

Life in the technology world is nonstop, 24/7. As an IT professional, I am tethered almost anywhere I go and anytime of the day.  It takes a consious effort to put off that project until tomorrow and spend quality time with people I love. We all struggle with this. Work will always be there, so it's important to take time out sometimes.

On Friday, November 4th, 2011, Christine and I were blessed with the best reminder to just take time out. Collin Thomas Feutz was born at 9:51 AM, weighing 10lbs, 11 oz and 21.5 inches long. He is happy and healthy, and has a good number of people wrapped around his finger already. Christine is doing great too. We're collectively meeting all the benchmarks that the hospital has to offer :)

Our son is only 2 days old, but is already teaching us more about life than we ever could have learned without him. We are truly blessed.
